Ms. Susanna Cabello is happily married to Arnulfo and is the proud mother of two sons, Matthew and Sam. She was born in East Chicago, IN and raised in eastern Kentucky. At Eastern Kentucky University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental health science. She served as an ensign in the US Coast Guard as her professional internship. She worked as an environmentalist for the state of Kentucky, and then moved to Alabama where she was an industrial hygienist for an engineering firm and an environmental and safety engineer for a manufacturing plant. Upon the passing away of her father, she re-evaluated her career choice and decided to pursue her passion for teaching. She started work on a master’s degree and started teaching middle school science and coaching robotics at Leading Edge Academy in Maricopa. She completed her master’s degree in middle school education from Liberty University in January of 2019. She is a Christian and enjoys attending church on Sundays with her family. She stays active by exercising in her home gym, swimming, and golfing. She likes to cook, read, write, sing, dance, play games, watch movies, photography, travel, and adrenaline rushes (like skydiving). She loves nature and being outdoors.
