Trecia Koozer

Mrs. Trecia Koozer was raised in West Texas, and loves everything Texas; however, has become a true desert girl in the 16 years she has lived in Maricopa.  She is married to the incredible Hal Koozer, and together they have 10 kids.  When Mrs. Koozer isn’t spending time with family, her favorite past times are any outside activities and trying something new for the very first time.  She is always up for an adventure and is excited for her new adventure with A+ Charters.

Mrs. Koozer graduated from North Central University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education: History, and is in her 5th year of teaching history and ELA in grades 7-12.  She has also served students as an NHS/NJHS advisor, Student Council advisor, Cross Country Coach, Yoga teacher, and Competitive Mock Trial coach at the Pinal County Courthouse.  Mrs. Koozer loves teaching and believes that learning is fun!

Mrs. Koozer’s philosophy on education is simple: exploration drives learning. “Much education today is monumentally ineffective. All too often we are giving young people cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants.” John W. Gardner
